Tax Credit Expanded

This is a reminder that the government has extended and expanded the $8,000.00 first time homebuyers tax credit through June 30, 2010. There is also a $6500.00 tax credit now available to home buyers with an exisiting home that they own and that they have lived in for at least 5 out of the last 8 years. A contract for a new home must be signed by April 30,2010 and the home must be closed on by June 30, 2010 to take advantage of the program. A home designed and built from scratch can take 6 months to complete. If you are planning to design your own home based on our existing floor plans, that process must be started by February 1,2010 to close by June 30,2010.
